Kinky falls

So I was sitting in my 8am Spanish class, and Rosario (the TA/professor/teacher/whateveryoucallher from Spain still trying to increase her English vocabulary) was trying to get us to talk about a reading we had done. In the reading this guy was writing secret messages to a girl saying "Te estoy observando" (I am watching you).

Rosario: "How kinky! That's a word right? Kinky?"
Class: (laughing) "Yea"
Rosario: (thinking) "Kinky....kinky....OH! No, creepy. How creepy!"

Later on in the class, a guy contracted a severe case of the hiccups. Rosario is walking around class talking as usual and all of a sudden she jumps down to the guy's level and screams at him in a Spanish accent, "AYE!!" We all jump and look at her like what did you just do? "Well?" she asks him, "are your hiccups gone?" Best moment in Spanish class EVER!

After Spanish I usually go to the gym, but today I left my wallet back in my dorm room and therefore did not have my OneCard, so I took it as a sign that I should return to my dorm and take a long nap. My bed is bunked on top of my roomate, Mary's, and the ladders on either end are blocked by the wall and by a dresser. So, we have a small hollow stool (we use it to store food) that sits beside our beds so that I can hoist myself into bed at night. When I woke up today from my nap I swung my feet over the side of my bed and aimed to jump down onto the stool. Unfortuantely I missed by a mile and instead sent myself flailing over the side of my bed landing hip first on the floor sprawled out, heart pounding, and with serious hip pain (ok not too serious...but I did just fall from the top bunk). When Mary walked back into the room, being the kind roomate that she is, she said, "I wish I could have seen that. Haha. Thank God my laundry was there to break your fall." Yes Mary, I'm very glad that one lonely tank top was there...had it been somewhere else that would have been one uncomfortable fall.
